Sachin Tendulkar, one of the greatest cricketers the world has ever seen and someone who is almost worshiped as a demi God in India, celebrated his 45th birthday with his family and a few close friends in Mumbai as wishes poured in from the cricketing world and his fans from across the globe.
The master blaster had a pre-birthday meal at a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai, and then attended a couple of other functions that also included the book launch of journalist and author Boria Majumdar.
Not a better occasion than the #WorldBookDay for this. So many unheard and untold stories to look out for. Congratulations, @BoriaMajumdar, on the successful launch of your new book #ElevenGodsAndABillionIndians. pic.twitter.com/jEpGV73GIo

Besides wife Anjali, daughter Sara and brother Ajit, others who joined Sachin at the pre-birthday meal last night were former cricketers Vinod Kambli, Ajit Agarkar and Zaheer Khan.
Meanwhile, wishes poured in from fellow cricketers — both past and present — along with his fans.
Wish you a very Happy Birthday @sachin_rt Paaji. 🤗😊 You are and will always be the real Master Blaster! 🙏👏
