Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will have to spend anotjher night in Jodhpur Central Jail as his bail hearing was adjourned till Saturday. District and Sessions Court Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi reserved the judgement on the actor’s bail plea hearing till Saturday.

The actor was not present at the Sessions Court when the judge said he wanted to see the entire case record before deciding whether Khan should be granted bail. Prior to that, the lawyers of Salman Khan had claimed that eyewitness accounts were unreliable, and therefore the punishment to the actor is harsh. The actor’s sisters were present in court while the arguments were being presented.

Meanwhile, his lawyer, Mahesh Bora, claimed to have received threat calls last night. He alleged that the calls were made from Dubai and Australia asking him to leave the case.

On Thursday, the court had sentenced the actor to a 5-year prison term in the 1998 blackbuck killing case. He was also slapped with a penalty of Rs. 10,000. However, his co-stars from the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, during the shoot of which the blackbucks killing took place, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam walked free.
