Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday jointly inaugurated direct bus service between Janakpur in Nepal and Ayodhya in India with his Nepalese counterpart Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi said, India and Nepal will work towards building ‘Ramayan’ circuit between both the countries. He said this will act as foundation for people to people contact between the two nations. Modi said people of both countries are bound by mutual respect and admiration for each other.
PM Narendra Modi also paid a visit to Janaki temple earlier and offered special prayers. The Prime Minister reached Janakpur this morning on a two-day visit to the Himalayan nation. PM Modi expressed happiness that Nepal is developing rapidly and said when he talks about ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’, he talks about neighbouring countries as well. He said, Nepal is entering a new era based on good governance and equality and his government is committed to boost economic ties.

PM Modi will also hold bilateral talks with his Nepalese counterpart KP Sharma Oli besides meeting the President and Vice President of the country.
